Ragnar and his farm
We stayed at a farm last night via Airbnb, and it was an unforgettable experience. It was located about a mile from the Wizard’s Hat and the owner’s name was Ragnar. His farm has been in the family for more than 120 years and you could tell he had great pride in what his family had done, as he should have. It was my first time staying at an Airbnb where you have your own room, but share amenities, but it was a good chance to meet other travelers from around the world (Switzerland, France when we were there).
My favorite part? Meeting all of the farm animals — from the friendly cat (who literally just crawled into our bed) to the Icelandic horses and sheep, it was an experience we won’t forget.
