A great end to our last day in Iceland
This morning we woke up after a crazy storm to a decent but gray day. We hurried our way to the famous church, Hallgrímskirkja so we could take the elevator to the top and take in the views of the city (it was the only thing left on our “let’s visit” list). The line wasn’t too long and while the day was gray, it was lovely seeing the entire city.
Our favorite coffee shop and bakery were just down the street, so we stopped in one last time before our flight (I also got the tuna fish salad after the girl at the bakery recommended it, but now thinking it might be a bad idea to eat it in a common place…).
A lovely end to our Iceland trip. Our flight is this afternoon and with the time change, we’ll land around 6:30 p.m. central time Friday. We’ll post more about yesterday shortly!
