Into the great unknown
Back in mid-May, we found a great deal to travel to a place neither of us had ever heard of before. That place is the Azores, autonomous territories of Portugal, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Six months later, here we are in Boston, about to embark into the unknown. Tomorrow we fly to Ponta Delgada, the capital of the nine volcanic islands that make up the territory.

So for the next seven days, we’ll be exploring the main island of Sao Miguel, and possibly island hopping over to Pico.
