What I packed for a week in the Azores

I’ll admit, I’ve done a lot less research for this trip compared to our time in Iceland. However, I knew it would be decent temps, with enough rain to spice things up.

With that understanding, here’s where I netted out. It's pretty minimal, but could be less if I pushed myself.

  • 2 t-shirts
  • Quick dry travel towel
  • Pair sneakers
  • Sorel hiking boots
  • Columbia light weight long sleeve
  • Long sleeve shirt
  • Flannel button up shirt
  • Button up shirt
  • Nike dry-fit light weight running/hiking pants
  • Khaki pants
  • Jeans
  • Swim trunks
  • North Face rain jacket (not pictured)
  • 2 pairs of underwear
  • 4 pairs of socks

With that, I wanted to highlight the new travel pack I’ve recently purchased and am using for the first time.

The Cotopaxi Allpa 35L travel pack is awesome so far, and I can’t wait to really put it to the test. I’ll try to post a review after we return from the trip. In the meantime, check it out here.

In addition, I’ve recently purchased some Eagle Creek compression packing cubes that are really great. Included with the pack, were also a shoe sack, and a dirty laundry sack.

So far, so good with all of the new gear.
